Bloix: It’s hilarious to me because I’m ugly so I can relate, or because I’m handsome and I can laugh at those less well-endowed? And tragic to you because you think you’re ugly, or because you’re a stud and always get grouped in with us schlubs? Really I think it’s funny because outside of certain literary and publishing circles, being a magazine editor carries no status advantage. The Onion guy’s unappealing appearance is just a signifier of that fact.
